Match the Exact Variant Before Comparing Offers
Match each offered unit to its exact base, evolved or shiny entry, then compare both sides using the same community value list. Before accepting, check the live trade window for eligibility, the Gem tax and the actual contents of the offer.
Community values are estimates rather than official Gem prices or guaranteed offers. Use them as a starting point for negotiation, alongside demand and your own reason for wanting the unit. A trade should make sense for your collection or team as well as on a value list.
Choose a List and Read Its Variant Labels
Game.Guide's Anime Adventures Value List, AAValues.trade and AA Values on Pages publish community trading estimates. Depending on the list, entries include demand, trends or variant labels alongside their indexed values. Compare base, evolved and shiny forms individually rather than treating every entry with a similar name as interchangeable.
Use value to compare the estimated size of an offer, then consider demand separately. Ask whether you want the incoming units for your own use or intend to trade them onward. If you plan to trade them again, give demand a place in your decision instead of focusing entirely on the total.
Compare the Listed Values for These Units
| Unit or Variant | Listed Community Estimates |
|---|---|
| JIO (Over Heaven) | Game.Guide: 39.5K; AAValues.trade: 38,500. |
| Blue Flare, ordinary variant | Game.Guide: 23.5K; AAValues.trade: 22,800. |
| Blue Flare Shiny variant | AAValues.trade lists this separately at 30,000. |
These are each site's indexed trading values, rather than Gem-denominated prices. The JIO (Over Heaven) and Blue Flare entries demonstrate that public lists can disagree, while the separate Blue Flare Shiny entry shows why the variant matters. AAValues.trade also provides its own demand scores, which should be read alongside its value estimates.
When lists disagree, keep your comparison consistent before negotiating. Avoid valuing your outgoing units from whichever list gives them the highest estimate while valuing the incoming units from whichever gives them the lowest. Compare the complete offer within your chosen list, then use another list to understand how estimates differ.
Check Eligibility and the Gem Tax in the Trade Window
Historical trading rules required level 40 and restricted unit trades to eligible Limited units. The older published tax table listed 4,000 Gems for an unevolved Mythic or Secret and 6,000 Gems for an evolved one. Other taxes varied by skin and rarity, so those historical figures should not replace the live display.
For the offer in front of you, check eligibility and the Gem tax shown in the live trade window. Verify the actual unit name, evolution, shiny state and included items before confirming. Keep this check separate from the value comparison so an attractive community estimate does not distract you from the contents of the trade.
Review Both Sides Before Accepting
- Find the exact unit entry on AAValues.trade, including the applicable evolution or shiny label, so your starting estimate belongs to the variant being offered.
- Record the listed value of every outgoing unit using your chosen list. This gives you a consistent starting total for what you would give away.
- Record the listed value of every incoming unit using that same list. This lets you compare the complete offer without mixing estimates from different lists.
- Review the demand information displayed for the incoming units. Use it alongside their values and your own goals when deciding whether you want to hold or trade them onward.
- Inspect the live trade window's eligibility and Gem-tax display. This lets you assess the trade's actual requirements before committing to an offer that looks appealing on a community list.
- Review the final offer's unit names, evolution states, shiny states and included items before confirming. If the contents differ from what you evaluated, pause and compare the revised offer before accepting.
