The documented Deception Portal route in Anime Adventures is to obtain Contracts through the Legendary Assassin, collect Death Dice from Contract rewards, and craft the portal with four Dice. Its documented reward is the Secret unit Switchblade, guaranteed for the host, with only a small chance for players joining someone else's run.
Check availability before farming Dice
Check that Contracts, the Deception Portal crafting recipe, and the portal launch option are present in your current client before planning a farm. An older portal listing marks Deception Portal as available, but that listing predates Update 21. If you cannot find a required part of the route, pause the farm rather than relying on the older availability label.
Follow Contracts to craft the portal
- Obtain a Contract through the Legendary Assassin to receive the boss or stage assignment for this route.
- Play the boss or stage assigned by your Contract to pursue its rewards. Assignments can vary, so there is no guaranteed fixed map to follow for every Contract.
- Collect four Death Dice from Contract rewards to meet the documented Deception Portal crafting requirement.
- Craft a Deception Portal using the four Dice required by its recipe. This converts the Contract materials into the portal you are trying to obtain.
- Launch your own Deception Portal, if the option is available, to pursue Switchblade as the host. Hosting is the role tied to the documented guaranteed unit reward.
Choose hosting for the Switchblade reward
Aim to host if you are crafting the portal specifically for Switchblade. The documented reward setup guarantees the unit for the host, while joining another player's run gives only a small chance. A joined run therefore should not be treated as the same reward opportunity as hosting your own portal.
Plan this farm around Switchblade. Do not spend Death Dice on the assumption that the portal will also provide a particular evolution material or an additional secret encounter. If an evolution item is your main goal, check that item's acquisition route before committing your materials.
Avoid following the wrong portal route
Keep Sky Portal farming separate from this plan. For Deception Portal, follow the Legendary Assassin's Contracts, Death Dice rewards, and the Deception Portal crafting recipe. Use your own Contract assignment as the destination instead of copying a fixed map from another player's run.
