Find Anime Adventures units by banner, event, portal or dungeon. Match in-game names to evolved forms and choose ground, hill or hybrid roster coverage.

Updated

01

Find the right route for your unit

Look for Elyssia and Word Mage in Special-banner rotations, Shadow Sorcerer in Legacy, and Snow Reaper (War) in dungeons; Summer units and portal rewards have separate acquisition routes. Match the full unit name below, then check its evolved form and targeting role before spending resources.

02

Compare unit names, roles and acquisition routes

The Summer entries belong to Update 21's event, while Switchblade's Deception Portal route is historical. Before committing to an event farm, check that the matching banner or portal is available. Read the base name and evolved suffix together when comparing units.

Choose ground, hill or hybrid coverage

Placement typeWhere it goesRoster use
GroundGround positions.Check attack compatibility against ordinary Flying enemies; ground placement cannot cover Soaring.
HillElevated placements.Provides the placement required to attack Soaring enemies.
HybridCompatible ground or elevated positions.Flexible placement, but attacking Soaring still requires placement on a hill.

Ordinary Flying and Soaring are different roster checks. Update 21 allows attacks to damage ordinary Flying enemies with restrictions, while Soaring requires hill placement. Choose coverage for the enemies you expect before adding another damage dealer.

When your roster still lacks air coverage

I've farmed Gems for days and still have no decent air unit. What should I do?
Identify whether ordinary Flying or Soaring enemies are stopping you. Ordinary Flying enemies can take damage from attacks with restrictions, while Soaring needs hill placements. Aim for usable hill coverage such as Honey and save toward a targeted banner unit. Choose a pull that fills the missing role rather than assuming any Mythic will solve it.
